Modena, Ferrari and Hollywood

The history of Enzo Ferrari and the team that bears his name are not new to the seventh art: Ford v Ferrari with Matt Damon and Christian Bale, Ron Howard’s Rush with Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Brühl, or the Ferrari mini-series with Sergio Castellitto as ‘the Drake’ (the nickname given to him by the British teams after the WW2, who compared him to the privateer Francis Drake for his ability to achieve success beyond his reach).
But for the first time, Modena is a co-star in a major Hollywood production: we talk about Michael Mann‘s film Ferrari, starring Penelope Cruz, Adam Driver and Patrick Dempsey, which has been in cinemas around the world for a few weeks now.
Several districts have had a face-lift, returning to the Modena of 1957.

But above all, did you know that in 1957, near the bend of the Modena Autodrome, where the 5th Grand Prix of the City of Modena was held, with the Ferrari Dino 156 F of Luigi Musso finishing second in both races, our grandparents built the building that, many years later, would become La Bravitù?
