Hello, I’m Fabrizia. My brother Giulio and I are your hosts.
We are happy to host you in the house where we grew up and which has always been inhabited by our family.
We have tried to maintain this family atmosphere also at La Bravitù, so that you can feel it as ‘your home’ during your stay.
And yes, that’s us in that photo… but a while ago!
What does ‘bravitù’ means?
Bravitù is a typical word of the Modenese dialect.
«Bravitù has always represented a higher value than mere skill [bravura, in Italian], than trivial dexterity, as evidenced by the affected but effective ‘French-style’ accent, which takes us back to the ancient splendour and exoticism of the Belle Epoque, when manufacturing skill, combined with aesthetic taste, was capable of creating small handicraft masterpieces».
