Xiaomi, the Chinese giant that is best known in Italy for its smartphones and smart home devices, is gearing up to disrupt the global market for electric cars.
In April, it will begin marketing the SU7 (Sport Ultra Qi), its first full-electric car with up to 673 hp/495 kW, 0-100 kmh (0-60 mph) acceleration of 2.78 seconds and a top speed of 265 mph.
And if not Modena, the “motor capital”, what else could Xiaomi call the platform architecture for its electric vehicles and thus the new model?
